The TrakNet TN-610 Dealer Tracking System allows you to track your vehicle through an easy to use and easy to understand TrakNet User Account via the internet.
This system allows you to see where your vehicle is by manually tracking the vehicle. Simply visit your TrakNet User Account and click Locate Vehicle. Reports are available for viewing online or download in PDF or Excel format.
Reports include vehicle location, speed, direction and street address. The TrakNet Dealer Tracking System also offers a starter disable circuit. Cut power to the starter via the Web or mobile phone. Disable the starter in case of theft or repossession. Reduce profit loss by finding vehicles in need of repossession. Customers are also more likely to make payments on time when they know you can cut the power to their vehicle until payment is made.
The TN-610 installs under the dash with a simple three wire connection: Power, Ground and Ignition. Inform customers at the time of purchase that the unit will be removed upon full payment. Nothing permanent is done to the vehicle while installing or uninstalling the unit.
The Geo-Fencing Feature can be used to set boundaries for each vehicle. Some dealerships allow employees to borrow cars from the lot for personal use. Protect your investment by setting geographical boundaries or speed thresholds. Keep the vehicle well maintained by reducing the wear and tear of frequent speeding. Tracking works by receiving data from 2 or 3 satellites in the sky and transmitting that data to the TrakNet System over cell phone towers. The TrakNet System uses the information it receives to generate reports and notifications. The TrakNet Dealer Tracking can be set up for Multi-Vehicle monitoring. This can be very helpful in monitoring all the cars of a car dealership.
