The EZ-ELD is easily transferred between any driver or vehicle in your fleet with a 9-pin, 6-pin or OBDII OBD port. Whether your vehicles are leased, owned or rented by the day, this ELD ensures that you are compliant.
The EZ-ELD package includes the hardware device for your truck and the
software subscription (annual or monthly) to view your files via the App or Software. You need one EZ-ELD package for each truck in your fleet. Both are easy to use and quick to set up.

One truck with three drivers would require just one ELD and one subscription. As the first driver ends his shift and the second begins, the second driver using his smartphone will log into the ELD installed in the truck. The ELD keeps track of each drivers data by the drivers ID# so there's no way for the system to become confused.
Two trucks with one driver where the driver is using each truck at various times throughout the day. The driver would simply take the ELD from truck to truck as he goes. The device recognizes the VIN and logs this data into the cloud. So now you'll know exactly what time each truck was in use.
A fleet of trucks which are all in use simultaneously will require one ELD in each truck.
Back Office Software
The Back Office software doesn't not require installation on your computer. Instead it's a system that the office and management staff will log into. This system is available once a device subscription has been purchased.
All of the data from the ELD is stored in the cloud which is accessible by those in the office using the Back Office software on their computers. From the computer in the office you can log into your cloud account and view data from each of your subscriptions (each ELD) without having to log off and log back in. All data from any driver in your fleet is just a click away.
Using the office software it is also possible to see the route which a driver has taken which is recorded automatically using bread crumbs on a hybrid google maps system. You can see the present location of any truck in your fleet and also see the exact speed at which the truck is travelling.
