I purchased this because of how often the power goes out at my house and it stays out for half the day sometime. This works great and doesn't kill my battery as I had anticipated. I've also realize that I can use the battery clips I purchased and connect this pan to any 12 volt battery. I've (just for heck of it) cooked bacon in the garage from my tractor battery. This is awesome. I had no idea that something like this existed till I saw it here.

Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Burgers, I cook it all and I love it! Usually 1 egg and 2 links fits fine. Most times it's just me so it's just the right size.
