A handy power switch on a fused 6' cord makes using this portable 12 volt slow cooker a snap.
To use the Roadpro 12 Volt Slow Cooker simply place food inside the crock and then place crock into cooker unit. Cover with see-though glass lid. Hook elastic cord loop on one handle, securing in notched grooves and stretch over lid to opposite handle. Plug the power cord into any available lighter socket or 12V accessory outlet. Press switch to ON position. Follow recipe for recommended cooking time.
Keep in mind that the actual cooking temperature of the crock pot can vary depending on the voltage being supplied by the vehicle to the cooker. If your vehicle has a large battery bank then idling while cooking is not necessary. However, if this cooker is being powered by a single battery vehicle it is advised that you run the vehicle occasionally during cook time. Always use your discretion as to degree of preparation.
